App Store payout evidence
App Store Payout Missing or Smaller Than Expected?
Start by finding the first missing record, not by assuming Apple or the bank made an error. A sales or proceeds total, Apple payment information, and a bank receipt describe different stages. The three-question check below tells you which stage to verify next without asking for a file, amount, or account connection.
Jump to the 3-question checkStart with the record Apple says it paid
Use Apple’s payment information as the bridge. The financial report covers settled activity for an Apple fiscal month; payment information records what Apple sent; the bank records what arrived. They are successive stages, not duplicate totals.
Find the first stage that disagrees and name the missing evidence. Never overwrite a source value to force a match.
That distinction also tells you whom to contact. A report-to-payment gap belongs on the Apple side; a completed-payment-to-receipt gap belongs with the bank or payment route. Keeping the handoff visible prevents both sides from being asked to explain a number outside their record.

Find the next record to verify
Answer three fixed questions. Do not enter an amount, vendor name, bank detail, or report value.
This check identifies the next evidence step. It does not verify a payout, decide who is at fault, or close the month.

Apple payment
Note the status, amount, currency, and Payment Date for the fiscal month.
Detailed report
Use the same fiscal period and keep each settlement currency separate.
Bank credit
Record only the amount, currency, and date credited. No bank login is needed.
Exchange or fee note
If currencies differ or an intermediary deducted a fee, keep the document that shows it.
Start here: what is actually missing?
Apple does not show a completed payment
Do not search the bank yet. Check for carry-forward, incomplete banking setup, or a returned payment.
Apple shows a payment, but no bank credit
Compare the Payment Date with normal transfer time. If overdue, ask the bank about that exact amount, currency, and date.
The currencies are different
Use documented conversion evidence and keep both amounts in their original currencies.
The currency matches, but the amount does not
Check bank or intermediary fees first, then Apple’s taxes, adjustments, returns, and settlement scope.
Everything matches within your stated tolerance
Save the period, scope, amounts, difference, tolerance, and conclusion for next month.
When the trail stops
Split regions and settlement currencies first. Returned payments, negative balances, tax adjustments, and bank fees each need their own evidence. Apple’s reporting tools can also differ in processing state, calendar, and exchange-rate treatment.
If the remaining gap has no document behind it, leave the close open and ask Apple or the bank about that specific record.
Record the question with the exact period, currency, amount, and status. “The payout is wrong” is hard to investigate; “Apple shows this completed USD payment, but the bank has no matching credit as of this date” is a usable exception.
